Guess which famous Yankee Rebels tune Larry Kerchner has arranged and will include in the 2008 repertoire...??
Sick Call

Ralph Chapman has been moved to the John R. Burton Bldg. on the Bayview campus temporarily for rehabilitation.  The building is located on Hopkins-Bayview Avenue (2nd right off of Eastern Avenue).  He is in room 36, and his telephone number is 410-550-6050.  The doctors have found two blockages in Ralph's heart, and are currently treating him with medications.  Please say a prayer for Ralph.

Shirley Lyon had open heart surgery recently at Union Memorial Hospital.  The operation was a success and Shirley is recuperating very well.  She is in room 407 and her phone number is 410-261-8407.  I am sure Shirley would like to hear from you.

A Tribute to Col. Truman W. Crawford
Col. Truman W. Crawford instructed the Yankee Rebels during the 1960s, 1970s, and the alumni corps until his death in 2003, bringing back a memorable repertoire, including "Requiem for an Era," "When Johnny Comes Marching Home" and other period pieces.  Crawford is revered by the Rebels and the drum corps world in general.  Click on the photo (left) to view a tribute of his life.
